Dalnaglar Castle
Glenshee - Perthshire - Scotland

Exclusive castle stays in a Perthshire glen

Dalnaglar Castle stands on a naturally elevated site in Glenshee, an area known locally as ‘The Fairy Glen’. Its history reaches back to a 16th century hunting lodge, later designed by Queen Victoria’s architect from Balmoral and commissioned by Lord Clyde. Today the property is a private retreat opened for exclusive rental by a few groups each year. Guests take the castle and grounds for their own party, which makes the setting suitable for intimate weddings and private gatherings.

Accommodation has been extensively refurbished to combine modern comfort with the character of a stately home. There are ten well-appointed double or twin bedrooms, eight of them en-suite, along with modernised accommodation within the grounds. Inside the castle, an elegant drawing room, library, dining room and reception give parties room to gather. For a look at an online casino and slots site, pavilion 88 sets out that subject.

Meals at the castle

The castle can provide a full Scottish breakfast, afternoon tea and a four-course evening meal. Prices are on request, and the minimum booking is eight people.

Organised extras

Staff can organise additional items such as transport, a piper and whisky tasting. Sporting and activity options are also part of the castle’s information, alongside accommodation, weddings and a photo gallery.
